🐬 Musa (AS) & the Sea 🌊

Allah didn’t dry up the sea for Musa. Nope! He waited until Musa stepped in faith — then boom 💥— parted waters like curtains! That’s divine drama.1

🔥 Ibrahim (AS) & the Fire

Did Allah put the fire out? Nah. He made it cool and comfy — like air conditioning on a hot day.

🔥 Trust levels = 1000%.2

🌴 Maryam (AS) & the Palm Tree

No dates just falling from the sky like snacks 🍫. Allah said, “Shake the tree!” While giving birth!! Talk about multitasking strength!3

🛶 Nuh (AS) & the Ark

No flying ship from the clouds. Allah gave him tools and time. Built it plank by plank — probably got blisters too. But look who floated above the flood! 🌊4

🕳 Yusuf (AS) & the Well

No rescue squad with ropes and flashlights 🔦. Just a random caravan showing up right on cue. Perfect timing? That’s Allah’s style. ⌛5

🤕 Ayub (AS) & the Pain

Allah didn’t block the pain. But oh, He rewarded the patience with healing, love, and honor! Pain didn’t win — faith did! 🧡6

🐳 Yunus (AS) & the Whale

No “exit” sign inside the fish belly 🚪. Just a heartfelt dua in total darkness… and then — tada! — shore. 🐋7

👑 Asiyah (RA) & the Palace

Allah didn’t zap her out of Pharaoh’s castle. He gave her Jannah in her heart — right there, in the lion’s den. 👸8

💔 Prophet Muhammad ﷺ & the Grief

His pain didn’t vanish overnight. But Allah sent revelation — soothing words that healed his heart bit by bit. 🌙9

💡 So… What About You?

Allah may not swipe away the storm 🌪, but He gives you an umbrella ☂️, a compass, and the mental strength to dance in the rain 💃. He may not drop the mountain — but He gives you strong legs, steady hands, and a playlist for the climb. 🎧🧗‍♂️

Wondering Why Your Prayers Haven’t Been Answered Yet?

Sometimes, when we pray, we might hear “Yes,” and feel like we just won the spiritual lottery. 💸 Other times, we hear “No,” and wonder if Allah’s playing a game of “Not Today!” 🎮 And sometimes, we hear “Wait,” which is like when your Wi-Fi says, “Connecting… please be patient” — but trust me, it’s totally worth the wait! 📶 Allah’s timing is always spot on! 😄

“There is no Muslim who calls upon Allah with words in which there is no sin or severing of family ties but Allah will give him one of three things: either He will answer his prayer soon, or He will store it up for him in the Hereafter, or He will remove something bad from him that is equivalent to what he is asking for.” They said, “Then we should make a great amount of du’aa’.” He said, “Allah is greater.” 10

Allah does not burden a soul beyond what it can bear

When Allah places a challenge in your life,
He never gives you more than your strength can handle.
Every difficulty, every trial is a test,
Like the hammer shaping the finest metal,
It’s meant to make you stronger, not to break you.

Wanna know this? If Allah Loves Us, Why Is There Evil in the World?

When Life Gets Hard: Feeling Alone, Lost

You ever feel like life’s just throwing everything at you? Like you’re stuck, broke 💸, tired 💤, overwhelmed 😩, and no one’s clapping for you except your own duas? Yeah… welcome to the pre-success phase 🤝.

The truth is, almost every strong person you see today went through stuff that would’ve broken most people. They didn’t have it easy. They got rejected 🚫, laughed at 😂, doubted 😒, and failed—a lot. But they didn’t stop. They cried in sujood 🕋, made silent duas in the dark 🌙, and kept showing up—broken, but still moving. That’s where the real transformation happens.

Success doesn’t come wrapped in ease. It’s delivered through sleepless nights, empty pockets, and tests that shake your soul 😔. But Allah doesn’t burden a soul more than it can bear. So if it’s hard right now, that means you’re being built—not punished. The pressure you’re feeling? That’s the weight of greatness being prepared for you 💥.

One day, you’ll look back and realize the pain had a purpose. The struggle had a story. And all of it led you exactly where you were meant to be, insha’Allah ✨

Allah’s Love: He Never leave you in your bad times

Blog Summary:

  1. A pregnant deer story
  2. It happens – I can understand
  3. If Allah Loves Us, Why Is There Evil in the World?
  4. You have the power to overcome any obstacle
  5. You are special
  6. The Fact
  7. You are tired?
  8. What is Tawakul?

It was evening, and dark clouds filled the sky. Lightning had struck the forest, and now it was on fire. 🔥

A pregnant deer was in pain. She had to leave her home because of the fire. Scared and tired, she walked until she reached a river. She wanted to drink water and find a safe place to give birth.

As she bent down to drink, she saw her reflection—tired, alone, and in pain. 😔

Suddenly, she heard a sound. On her left, a hunter was hiding, aiming an arrow at her. She panicked and turned to run, but on her right, a lion was waiting in the bushes, ready to attack.

She was trapped.
Fire behind her.
A hunter to her left.
A lion to her right.
And the river in front.

She didn’t know where to go. She was scared. But…………………….

💔It happens

Sometimes… it feels like the weight of the world is sitting on our chest.
We feel burdened, tired, lost… like we’re walking through life in slow motion, surrounded by people but completely alone.

It’s as if everything we once loved fades into the background.
Nothing feels right anymore. Nothing feels beautiful.
And slowly, we begin to pull away—from the world, from people, even from ourselves. 💔

We start to question everything. We feel disconnected.
Not just from life… but from our own hearts.

I get it. I really do.
Because I’ve felt it too.
That deep ache in your chest. That longing to just feel okay again.

You have the power to overcome any obstacle

I know.
You and I—we’re both walking through it. These are hard times. I get it. I really do.

But listen to me: as long as there’s breath in our lungs… it’s not over. Not even close.

We’ve been given today. This moment. That alone is a gift. So what do we do with it? Are we just gonna sit in the pain? Or are we gonna rise—stumble maybe—but rise anyway?

Don’t waste what you still have. Don’t waste the fire still flickering inside you.
Please don’t.

All we have is right now. So I’m asking you—what are you gonna do with it?

I don’t care how messy your past is. I don’t care how broken you feel. You are not beyond healing. You are not beyond purpose.
God placed something in you. Something real. Something powerful.

And it’s still there.
So breathe.
Then rise.
Let’s go.

You are special

Think about this for a second.
Roughly 100 billion people have walked this Earth.
But how many could have been born? That number? It’s astronomical.
We’re talking 10 to the 30th power—a billion, trillion, trillion lives

Yet somehow…
you did.

Every time a life begins, 100 to 300 million sperm race toward the chance of creation.
In that flood of possibilities, one made it. And it was you.
Not by accident. Not by luck.
Chosen.

Out of all the infinite combinations, Allah picked you.
There’s something only you can bring into this world.
A path carved just for you.
A light no one else can shine.

That purpose? It’s not a maybe. It’s not a vague idea.
It’s real. It’s already inside you.
And no one else—not a single soul—can fulfill it quite like you can.

So don’t let anyone convince you you’re here by chance.
You’re here on purpose. With purpose.
And your story matters more than you may ever fully understand.

The Fact

The truth is…
The very fact that you’re still standing in the middle of all this?
It means you can.
You have the strength. You have the resilience. It’s already inside you—even if it doesn’t feel like it right now.

You’re not going through this by accident.
You’re enduring it because you have what it takes to get through it—and come out stronger.

Allah doesn’t place a weight on your shoulders that you’re not built to carry.
And if you’re carrying it now, it means you were made for it.
You were built to handle it—even when your knees shake, even when your heart breaks.

It’s like holding 10 kilograms in your hand.
If I’m holding it, it’s because I have the ability to bear that weight.
Same with life. Same with pain. Same with every single test you’re facing.

This struggle? It’s not proof of your weakness.
It’s proof of your strength.
And you’re living that strength every single day—whether you realize it or not.

“Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear…”1

And the story continues

She stood at the water’s edge, her heart pounding like a drum in her chest.
But then, a quiet realization washed over her:
“If death is certain… why fear it?”

And with that, the trembling in her legs stilled.
Her breathing slowed.
She lowered her head and began to drink from the stream—calmly, almost gracefully—placing her trust in whatever was meant to unfold.

High in the shadows, the hunter watched.
Moved by her courage—or perhaps unmoved by anything at all—he raised his bow, fingers tightening on the string.
But just as he was about to let the arrow fly, the sky cracked open with a violent roar of thunder.
A flash of lightning split the heavens.

His arrow missed.

Instead of striking the deer, it pierced the lion who had been silently approaching her from the side.
The beast roared in pain, its furious eyes locking onto the hunter.

Without hesitation, the lion lunged.

In a blur of chaos, predator turned on predator.
The forest, moments ago engulfed in flames, was suddenly bathed in rain.
The fire hissed, then faded, as if nature herself had stepped in.

When the deer finally looked up, her world had changed.
The danger was gone.
No hunter. No lion.

If Allah Loves Us, Why Is There Evil in the World? That is a common question. I have tried my best to answer it.

You are tired?

Are you tired? I get it. But hey, we’ve got to laugh where we once cried.
This tough time? It’s shaping us, my friend.
It’s making us stronger. And stronger.

And that’s is how Allah tests our Tawakul in Him. Wanna know how and why? Click here

So pack up that doubt, pack up the fear—because stepping back or staying silent? That’s not who we are.
We’re better than this. We were made for more.

Let’s show the world what Allah has created.
Let’s remind them of what we’re capable of.
We have so much power, so much strength, just waiting to break free.

It’s our time to rise. Together.

Free Will vs Predestination: My Fate is prewritten?

If Allah Knows I’ll Fail, Why Let Me Try? Allah loves you and gave you the gift of free will. But how does it fit with the idea that our fate is already written? Explore the balance between your choices and destiny in Islam. – Free Will vs Predestination

Blog post summary:

  1. An Easy Example to Understand Free Will vs. Predestination in Islam
  2. Allah’s knowledge is far greater
  3. Allah can see the whole track, we are dependent upon time not Him
  4. Why did Allah give you free will?
  5. How can I change my destiny?

✨An Easy Example to Understand Free Will vs. Predestination in Islam

I came across this simple example while studying this topic, and although I’m not sure of the scholar’s name, it really helped me understand the concept. So, I’m sharing it:

Imagine a magician comes to you and says,

“Pick any card from this deck, and I’ll predict what you’ll choose.”

He shuffles the cards and writes something down on a piece of paper. You pick a card, and when you look at it, it matches exactly what the magician wrote—like magic! But here’s the twist: even though you had the choice to pick any card, somehow, it still ended up being the one the magician predicted.

So just like that, I have the choice to do good things or bad things. Yup—free will is real, my friend! 😎
Allah isn’t forcing me to eat that extra slice of cake at 2 a.m. 🍰 (even though He knows I will 💀).

Why? Because He already knows everything—past, present, future, and even what’s in your group chat 👀
But knowing something doesn’t mean controlling it. Allah has ultimate knowledge, not a remote control. 📺✨
It’s that simple. You choose. He knows.

“And with Him are the keys of the unseen; none knows them except Him…”1

So next time you mess up and say, “Well, Allah already knew I was gonna do that…”
Remember:

That’s like blaming Google Maps for missing your exit—you had the steering wheel, bro. 🚗😂

Free Will vs Predestination https://imotions.com/blog/insights/can-you-measure-free-will/

🙌 Allah’s knowledge is infinite and beyond human comprehension

Allah’s knowledge is way beyond anything we can imagine. When we talk about predestination, we mean that Allah knows everything—even what we will do, because time isn’t a hurdle for Him. He created time! 🕰️

So, Allah already knows whether our choices will lead us to paradise or, well… the other place. But here’s the kicker: this doesn’t take away our free will.

It’s like that magician example—he knows what card you’ll pick, but you’re still the one choosing it. You’re the one making the choice, even if the magician already wrote it down on a piece of paper. It’s your choice, just like that card—you pick, but somehow, he knew!

For example, let me give you another example,

Kid: “Mom, why are you putting broccoli in my pizza?! That’s illegal!” 🥦🍕

Mom: “Trust me, it’s good for you.”

Kid (after one bite, the whole dramatic scene): “This is betrayal. I thought you loved me.” 😩

But here’s the thing: just like Mom isn’t trying to ruin pizza night (even though it feels that way to the kid), Allah doesn’t send challenges to make us suffer. His actions aren’t random or cruel. He knows what we don’t. He sees the whole journey—start to finish.

We might see the “broccoli moments” in life as punishment 🍕💔, but Allah sees them as necessary ingredients for our growth.

His knowledge is beyond time, beyond space, beyond Google and your grandma combined 🧠✨

“But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you…”2

And no, this doesn’t cancel your free will. You still chose to pick up the slice, my dude. You still make your own choices—He just knows the ending before you watch the movie.

If Allah is loving and merciful, why does He allow evil and suffering? Explore how Islam explains suffering, divine wisdom, and the deeper purpose behind life’s trials.

If Allah Loves Us, Why Is There Evil in the World? A Merciful Perspective

Allah can see the whole track – Free Will vs Predestination

Just like a child’s circle of knowledge is small and limited 🎈, a mother’s circle is much bigger. 💡
She knows that if her child keeps eating candy for breakfast 🍭, skipping sleep 😴, and wrestling the neighbor’s cat 🐈—it’ll cause trouble later.
She sees what’s coming, even if the child doesn’t.

Now imagine that… but on an infinite scale. ♾️

Allah’s circle of knowledge is the greatest. 🕋✨
He doesn’t just see what’s in front of us—He sees all of time at once. Past, present, future—it’s all clear to Him like an open book 📖.
Time is a barrier for us, not for Him.
We move through time like passengers on a train 🚆, seeing one moment at a time…
But Allah is the One who sees the whole track—beginning to end. 🛤️

So yes, He already knows what we’ll do—but that doesn’t mean He forces us to do it. You still have the controller in your hands 🎮—He just already knows what move you’ll make.

His knowledge is beyond anything we can grasp.

“He knows what is before them and what is behind them, but they do not encompass it in knowledge.”3

🤔✨ Why did Allah give you free will? – Free Will vs Predestination

Now, the big question is: If Allah is all merciful and loves us, and He knows that because of our choices, some might end up in Hell, then why did He give us free will? Was it to hurt us or to show off His power and knowledge?

The answer is no. He didn’t give us free will for that reason.

So, why did Allah give us free will if He already knows some people will end up in Hell?

Because true love and mercy include freedom. True love moves through many stages.
And when it’s real—with kindness and sympathy—you don’t force hearts, you give them space to choose.

Allah didn’t create us as robots. He gave us minds, hearts, and the ability to choose—because only through choice can we grow, learn, love Him sincerely, and earn Jannah (Paradise) with real effort.

He doesn’t want anyone to go to Hell. In fact, the Quran says:

“Allah does not wrong anyone, not even the weight of an atom.” 4

If we end up in a bad place, it’s because of our own continuous choices—not because Allah wanted to punish us. He shows us the right path, sends guidance, forgives again and again, and gives countless chances.

Free will is a gift, not a trap. It’s what gives your good deeds meaning. It’s what makes your patience, kindness, and faith valuable. Because you chose them.

And remember:

“Allah is more merciful to His servants than a mother is to her child.”5

So no—He didn’t give us free will to hurt us. He gave it to us because He loves us enough to let us write our own story.

Allah is very loving. And He is with you in your bad times. Click here to read a fantastic story of a short story of a samurai

Dua 🤲 can change your destiny

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

“Nothing repels the Divine Decree but supplication, and nothing increases the lifespan but righteousness.”6

Yes—you read that right. Your sincere, heartfelt du’a has power.
Not just to comfort you, not just to bring peace to your heart—but to literally rewrite your destiny. 🖊️📜

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

“Nothing can change the Divine decree except du’a.”7

SubhanAllah. That’s huge. 💥
It means that even if something is written in your fate—hardship, delay, difficulty—your du’a has the power to shift it.
Your hands raised in prayer can shake the heavens before they shake the earth. 🌌

So next time you’re feeling stuck, hopeless, or like nothing will change—make du’a. Cry. Whisper. Shout it in your heart if you can’t with your tongue.
Because your Lord is listening. And He is closer than you think.

“Indeed I am near… I respond to the call of the caller when he calls upon Me.”8

Allah loves you my dear. Click here: Divine Love Revealed: How and Why Allah Loves You

🛑 Don’t underestimate your du’a. It’s not a last resort—it’s your strongest weapon.

If Allah Loves Us, Why Is There Evil in the World? A Merciful Perspective

If Allah is loving and merciful, why does He allow evil and suffering? Explore how Islam explains suffering, divine wisdom, and the deeper purpose behind life’s trials.

Blog post summary:

  4. Why Do We Do Evil? Why Do We Do Evil?
  5. The Role of Suffering
  6. Why Do We Blame God?
  7. Pain as a Teacher: How Struggle Shapes Human Morality

🔍Dear God, Why Does Hate Still Exist?

Sometimes, we question the existence of God because of the pain we see around us. But what if the presence of suffering doesn’t prove God’s absence… but rather reflects our distance from Him?

Human: I don’t believe in God.
God: May I ask why?
Human: There’s so much pain in the world — wars, hatred, suffering. If You truly existed, wouldn’t there be peace on Earth?

God: That’s a fair question. Let me ask you something — you’re a dentist, correct?
Human: Yes, I am.
God: Then how do you explain the millions of people with toothaches and broken teeth? By that logic, shouldn’t they all have perfect smiles?

Human: Well… not everyone comes to me. Some ignore the pain or delay treatment.
God: Exactly. I exist — just as surely as you do. But not everyone turns to Me. Not everyone listens to My guidance.
If humanity followed the path I set — with love, mercy, and justice — imagine the peace that would fill the Earth.

🕊️⚖️ Why Is There Sin and Suffering If God Is Merciful?

Common Questions

Someone asked me the other day,
“If God is All-Merciful, then why is there so much suffering in the world?”
And I did what most of us do—I reached for the classic answer:
“Because of our sins. We mess up, and suffering follows.”

And at first, that seemed to make sense. Actions have consequences, right? Humanity has free will. We make bad choices, and those ripple out into the world—pain, injustice, chaos. Karma, consequences, the butterfly effect… sure, I get that.

Free Will

If it’s already written that someone will die in a car accident, then no matter what they do, they will die that way.
And if it’s written that someone will go to hell, then it feels like no matter how hard they try, that’s where they’ll end up.
So… how is that fair? It doesn’t feel like it’s their fault. Wanna know more about free will? Click here.

But then they asked the harder question:
“What about children? They haven’t sinned. They haven’t made bad choices. Why do they suffer?”

And I’ll be honest—I didn’t have a good answer right away.
Because really, what does a 4-year-old do to deserve leukemia?
What cosmic crime did a toddler commit to be born into famine or war? These are little ones who are just trying to learn how to walk straight and color inside the lines.

And the numbers hit even harder:
🧒 Over 25,000 children die from leukemia every year.
👶 Around 4.8 million kids under 5 die globally each year.
That’s about 13,100 innocent lives lost every single day.

So I heard another answer. One I’ve heard before.
“Well, the world is broken. Not because of them, but because of us.”
That suffering exists not because of a single child’s sin, but because of the collective brokenness of humanity—our neglect, our greed, our failure to care for one another and the earth.

But something about that still didn’t sit right with me.
Like—really? I forgot to recycle, or someone somewhere chose war or wealth over mercy, and now a child halfway across the world has to suffer?
That doesn’t feel like mercy. That feels like injustice.
If God is all-knowing and all-merciful, isn’t there something off here?

And that’s when I realized—we’re trying to judge the whole picture by looking at one torn piece.
We’re like children ourselves, standing in a dentist’s office, scared of the drill and blaming our parent for the pain.

Our limited Knowledge

Kid: “Ow, my tooth hurts!”
Dad: “No worries, champ—let’s hit the dentist.”
Kid (after the whirring drill feels like a mini jackhammer): “Dad, you’re EVIL! You said you’d fix my pain, not crank it up to eleven!”

Just as your dad isn’t plotting evil with that scary drill, God isn’t doing this whole to hurt us.

We see our pain, we feel our suffering—and sometimes, it makes us question.
But God, who sees the whole picture, knows what we don’t. His knowledge is complete. His love is constant. And sometimes, what we interpret as harsh or unloving is actually the beginning of a deeper healing.

P.S. Next time you see that dentist’s drill, think of it as a “tough love” treatment plan—just like God’s, only with better grip on the Novocain 😉

The dieing kids

I understand—it really does feel unfair.
Children passing away so young, and their parents left behind in pain and grief… it’s one of the most heartbreaking things we can witness in this world.

But if we try to step back and see the bigger picture, there’s a deeper hope hidden in that pain.
These children, in reality, are among the most successful souls.
They didn’t have to struggle through the tests and hardships of this world. By the mercy of Allah, they went straight to the ultimate destination—Paradise.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

“There is no Muslim who has three children die before reaching the age of puberty but Allah will admit him to Paradise by virtue of His mercy toward them.”1

And even for fewer than three children, the mercy still applies. These young ones are not forgotten—they are honored.

Maybe that child, sitting peacefully in Jannah, is praying right now for his mother and father.
And maybe—because of that child’s pure, sincere prayer—Allah will ease the hearts of the parents, forgive their mistakes, raise their ranks, and reunite them as a family once again in the gardens of Paradise.

Because that’s the kind of mercy our Lord gives. Beyond what we can imagine.

😈 What is Evil?

Evil is like darkness — it only shows up when there’s no light. Evil is not something that is created. It is the absence of good (Just like darkness. Darkness is nothing but the absence of light).

So if you’re feeling upset or frustrated, it’s just because you’re missing some good energy. Life’s like a body: take away all the love and kindness, and negativity will sneak in. Want to get rid of the bad stuff? Spread a little good, and watch the negativity disappear like it never existed. It’s all about bringing the light, one small act of kindness at a time!

😈 Why Do We Do Evil? Why Do We Do Evil?

Let’s be real — nobody does evil just to be evil. Like, no one wakes up and says, ‘Hmm, how can I ruin the world today?’ We usually do dumb stuff chasing something good — love, money, respect, maybe a little attention.

The goal isn’t bad… we just take the wrong (sometimes really stupid) road to get there. It’s not evil we’re after — we just mess up trying to find the good

🤕➡️💪 The Role of Suffering

A caterpillar shows up—eww, nope, not today! But when it turns into a butterfly? Suddenly you’re a wildlife photographer.

See mud? You’re walking like it’s lava. But throw a lotus in there and now it’s “OMG, nature is so deep.”

Coal? Touch it and your hands look like you fixed a car. But turn it into a diamond? You’re selling a kidney to buy it.

Ugly things just need time… and maybe a little glow-up. Life is weird, messy, and awesome. So chill—your butterfly moment is coming! 🐛➡️🦋💎. It is a promise from the Greatest:

“So, surely with every difficulty, there is relief.”2

Plus Allah is all merciful and He doesn’t burden a soul. Wanna read more? Click here.

🙇‍♂️💭 Why Do We Blame God?

Isn’t it a bit of a coward’s way out? To look at the pain in this world and say, ‘Ah, it’s not my responsibility — it’s God’s.’ What happened to us? We were meant for more than this. We are better than this. Why is it so hard to admit that we — not God — are the source of so much of the evil we see? Why can’t we just face that truth… and change?

“You will remain the same until the pain of remaining the same is greater than the pain of change”2

Pain as a Teacher: How Struggle Shapes Human Morality

Pain has a purpose beyond suffering, it is a teacher, a guide, and sometimes the only way humans recognize the path of morality. Hardship reminds us of our limits and points out when we have strayed from what is right. Voltaire captured this truth when he said, “If God did not exist, it would be necessary to invent Him.” Humans need a guiding force, a moral compass, and the experience of consequence to shape ethical behavior. When we face difficulties, we are often confronted with our own choices, realizing that actions have meaning and that virtue is cultivated not in comfort, but in the lessons learned from struggle. In this way, pain becomes the invisible hand that nudges humanity toward goodness and responsibility.

Sometimes, our love for someone stems from selfishness

We often love someone not for who they are, but for how they make us feel. And we do this same with the Creator! So, what is the Islamic perspective on love?

Why complain of perfection today, O Allah !

You only come to ask, sometimes come to meet as well.

😞 We are so Selfish Guys!

Sometimes I wonder—are we humans truly capable of selfless love, or are we just driven by our own desires? We often claim to love others, but deep down, is it only for what we gain in return?

And then I think…
If God were to declare: “There is no punishment, no reward, no Heaven, no Hell—do as you wish,”
How many of us would still bow down in devotion?
How many would still love Allah purely for who He is—not for fear of Hell, not for the hope of Paradise, but simply because He is worthy of love? Hahaha. I know the answer.

Here’s a beautiful reference from the Qur’an that speaks to that:

“Indeed, Allah is full of bounty to the people, but most of the people do not give thanks.”1

🌿 The Story: Musa and the Shepherd (as told by Rumi)

One day, as Prophet Musa (peace be upon him) was traveling to Mount Sinai to speak with Allah, he passed by a shepherd who was praying. The shepherd was saying:

“Oh God, where are You? I want to comb Your hair, wash Your feet, sew Your clothes, milk Your cows, and cook food for You. I love You so much!”

Musa was shocked and upset. He said to the shepherd:

“What are you saying? That’s not how you speak to Allah! He is beyond all of this. You are speaking blasphemy!”

The shepherd was devastated. He tore his clothes and ran into the desert, heartbroken.

Later, when Musa reached the Mount and spoke with Allah, Allah said:

“O Musa, why did you drive away My servant? You were sent to bring people closer to Me, not to push them away. Every soul has its own way of loving Me. I look not at words, but at the heart.”2

I look not at words, but at the heart“. Read again. This is Allah. The Greatest. The Almighty. The Lover. Or should I say the Creator of Love.

💛 Make Him your Bestest Friend

How do we talk to our friends? We open up with them. Right? We laugh with them. Right? Most of the time, we just talk about things that aren’t even important. So why can’t we do the same with Allah? Like saying, ‘Allah, You know today I met my friend from school, and we laughed together.’ Just simple, heartfelt conversations like that. Allah says He is our friend3. He is the true friend — yes, a real friend, not just in name. The best friend of all.

True Love in Islam

When we love someone, we text them 24/7, follow their advice like it’s divine revelation, and panic if they don’t reply in 5 minutes. So if we claim to love Allah, maybe it’s time we treat His words with at least the same loyalty—and no, He’s never left us on “read”! 😄

🌧️ When It Didn’t Rain… and Then It Did : A Quiet Sign That Allah Loves You

So Hazrat Musa and Bani Isra’il (the nation) were stuck in the desert. No water. No food. Just heat and dust Think: desert-level dehydration and no snacks. 🏜️1

Musa A.S. does what prophets do: he prays. 📿
“Ya Allah, send us rain!” 🌧️

But… nothing. No clouds. Just crispy dryness. 😩
Everyone’s looking at Musa like, “Uh… where’s the miracle, bro?” 👀

So he prays harder — and Allah replies:

“There’s a guy among y’all who’s been sinning for 40 years straight. Tell him to step out — he’s blocking the barakah (blessings)!”

Musa’s like, “Yo! Whoever you are, time to fess up so we don’t all roast!” 🔥

Now imagine being that guy. 😶
Thousands of people. Everyone’s waiting. You’re sweating buckets thinking,
“Bruh… it’s me 😬.”

He doesn’t move. He just silently turns to Allah:

“Ya Allah, I’m sorry. Please forgive me. But… please don’t expose me 😢.”

And then… boom!
🌧️ RAIN starts falling. People cheer. Musa’s like: Wait what?!

He asks,

“Ya Allah… no one stepped out. So how did we get the rain?”

Allah responds:

“He repented. 🌧️ I forgave. 😌 And I ain’t gonna expose someone I’ve been covering for 40 years

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“Allah says: ‘I am exactly how you think of Me when you remember Me.’ 😌 And you know what? Allah is way more thrilled with your repentance than you are when you find your lost camel in the middle of the desert. 🏜️ I mean, imagine that joy—except Allah’s joy is even bigger!2

And get this:
If you take a step towards Allah, He’ll take a giant leap towards you.

Take a tiny step towards Allah, and He’ll take a big step towards you. Take a bigger step, and He’ll close the gap even more. And if you’re just walking, guess what? He’s literally running to catch up with you!” 🏃‍♂️💨

  1. Ibn Qudamah, a great Syrian scholar, narrates in his book Kitab al-Tawwabin. But it must be stated that the story in question is not rigorously authentic. It might be from historical Israelite narrations, which we are allowed to cite as long as they do not contradict our Shariah, as is the case here. ↩︎
  2. Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “Allah says: ‘I am just as My slave thinks of Me when he remembers Me.’ By Allah! Allah is more pleased with the repentance of His slave than one of you who unexpectedly finds in the desert his lost camel. ‘He who comes closer to Me one span, I come closer to him a cubit; and he who comes closer to Me a cubit, I come closer to him a fathom; and if he comes to Me walking, I come to him running”.

How big is God’s love for us?

Sometimes, in our deepest pain… when we’re all alone, crying in silence, and no one seems to understand or help… a quiet voice inside us wonders:
“Why is Allah letting this happen to me? Does He really love me?”

Blog post summary:

  1. A short story of a samurai

💔God do not love you?

Here is a short story of a samurai and the love of his life.

A samurai and the love of his life had just gotten married and were traveling by boat to their honeymoon, when a huge storm hit. His wife, trembling in fear, rushed to find him. “How can you be so calm? We’re about to die! Don’t you care about your life?” she screamed.

To her surprise, the samurai was sitting there, relaxed, gazing at the storm as if it were a calm day. He calmly pulled out his katana and held it to her neck.

“Why are you laughing?” he asked. “Aren’t you scared?”

She giggled and said, “Because I know you love me and would never hurt me!” 😅

The samurai smiled and said, “Well, just like you trust me, I trust the One who loves me more than you ever could. So why should I be afraid?”

And in that moment, the storm seemed a little less terrifying.

Sometimes we think too much; our anxiety and fear about the uncontrollable and unknown future drag us towards darkness and depression. God is All-Knowing and All-Loving. He loves us more than any living creature in this entire universe. So, how does He do anything that is harmful for us? When we try to realize that Allah/God loves us beyond what can be comprehended, our fear turns into faith and love. After all, Allah says in Al-Quran (39:63), “To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth.” When things do not go as planned, we should just surrender to God’s plan because God’s plans are always best and bigger than our small dreams. I don’t think that God made a mistake giving you the place that you are currently in. He chose it for you. Trust His plans and leave the rest to Him. He loves you, dear; whosoever you are, whatever sins you have committed, He loves you. So, just look up in the sky and say, “I love you too, my Lord; I love you too.” Everything will be fine.
